divertran  Fish Addict Posts: 784 Kudos: 469 Votes: 165 Registered: 14-Nov-2004   | Hi again, I just stripped my 10 gal and was gonna set it up for some dps. what would I need for a good set up for them? as far as gravel, plants etc? thanks for help |

I'm doing a 6g at the mo for 3 dpf. It will have very fine gravel, A big bushey pastic plant & about 5 small caves/over hangs. It will look a little crowded to my eyes but the fishes will love it. Since you're going with plastic plants substrate is up to you. I've read that too much color can stress fish though so you might want a neutral colored gravel and colored plants, or vice versa. Otherwise you should be all set ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

Wife wants maybe light blue or red (UGHHH) substrate, some decorations and plants. I just went thru the live plant thing and I think I'm better off with plastic. I like the way they look better anyways |
