I have a 150 gallon tank. I would like to know how many fish it would be wise to stick in the thing. I would also like to know what kind of fish I should put in that would bottom feed or clean the tank a little. Thanks!

Holy cow, that's waaaay too open ended

WE should be asking YOU the same questions. 150 gallons is a lot to work with, so you have many options. What kind of fish do you like? Do you like large cichlids? or do you like small popular schooling fish? How much work and money do you want to put into this? Take a look through the profiles on this site and see what appeals to you.

Also, is this your first tank?

This is my third tank. I like large fish because they seem to have more individuality. I have a moderate amount of money to work with. I currently have one Lionhead Goldfish and three Ryukins. I'd like to add more, but keep enough room for the rest of the fish to swim around and such.

If the lionhead and the ryukin are in that tank then you are more limited. Those are cold water fish and you shouldn't add tropiclas to a tank like that. You could add a few more fancy goldfish (oranda, fantails, etc.) or some whitecloud moutain minnows.

If you have goldfish, I assume this is a coldwater tank, or at least not a tropical tank, correct? If so then IMO that limits your options. For algae cleanup look into getting maybe a few bristlenose plecos, 2 or even three would be fine in your tank. They grow to 4 inches or so, but they'll need their own territories.

Oh yeah, and hillstream loches are a cold water species of fish that you could put in there. The are darling. Here's a link:

Scroll all the way down and you will see him! I have two in my tank and they are the weirdest looking things, cute though. I got mine on Aquabid.

With 4 goldies in that tank i wouldnt put in anything else. Goldies, are very robust and produce much waste. For the sake of water quality and room, your better off not adding anything. A pleco ont the bottom might work though.
