the oldest fish i have are my silvertip tetras that i got when i first started the hobby.

I think they're 3 years old at the end of the year.

I think my snakeskin gourami is at least seven years old... Possibly older.

I've owned him for three years, and when I bought him, he was at the store because somebody had him for years and didn't want him anymore (so they just dropped him off at the store).

When the lady was bagging him up, she was like, "Are you sure you want that one? He's really old. We have younger ones". Well, he still looks as healthy and strong as the day I bought him (only about 1.5" longer).

Oh, and there are several fish at the Steinhart Aquarium in San Francisco that are over 100 years old, and were there when the aquarium first opened in the early 1900s.

Seens i just started fishkeeping a year ago i don't have old fish.
I think my Hoplo is the oldest one..1 year old.
The oldest fish that i know of is the Australian lungfish..he is 65 years old....here is a link.
