Okay, hubby has this great idea, and we go and get Denison Barbs for our clown loach tank as dither fish.

I want to add some tiger barbs to finish the tank.

Hubby's idea is to get some yellow tigers, so the clowns are going to go, what the heck, where did so many clowns suddenly appear from and run after the yellow barbs.

Me, I did like a little more colour and contrast in the tank, and I absolutely love the look of the green barbs. I would like to see the different schools of fish keep their schools.

I have today, a 2 member school of the Denison Barb that I plan to up, a 5 member school of zebra loaches, and 19 clown loaches.

So what Barbs should I get, GREEN or YELLOW.

Your vote please...:%)

Green look like they haven't been algae-scrubbed yet.

Definately the yellow barbs...green are kind of bland

For contrast, the deep moss green variety of the Tiger Barb would be nice. However, whether you can get the really deep moss green ones is a moot point. Not least because there is, if meemory serves, more than one 'green' Tiger Barb in existence now.

Yes, I am talking about the deep moss green ones. The LFS are getting lots of those these days. What's a good size to buy them at, and do they breed in a fish tank? This question is for both tiger barbs.
