Just a curious question. What would you stock it with? I love mine to death, want to see what other people would do with a tank of this size

Yup. I'm that crazy Twilight/animal/music girl

I have a 80 gallon that has 2 Oscars, a fire mouth, pleco and an Apple Snail. However if I did it again I would go with...
Two large schools of some kind off small tetra and school of corys for the bottom, a few Hatchetfish for the top and school of Otocinclus for the Algae. And lots of plant.
This would cost some money to start up but it would look very cool.

More of what I want now.

Danios
Clown Loaches
Corys
Rams
Maybe a Pleco.
And a Black Ghost Knife Fish if compatible.

Too bad clown loaches and black ghosts get rather large and aren't the most appropriate choices for a 75 gallon. I'm not good with cichlids, but I'm pretty sur ethat 2 Oscars and 1 Firemouth could eventually be problematic, especially for the firemouth.

Hmmm, if I had a 75 gallon perhaps I'd keep Discus. I've never had them before, it would be nice to try them out. As said, I don't know too much about cichlids, but I think 75 gallons is large enough for at least two.

To put no finer point on it a full size oscar could probably eat a firemouth, and certainly could beat it to death in seconds in a territorial dispute.Im actually amazed the oscar hasnt already eaten the apple snail, so i'm assumming the oscar must be merely a youngster, there are probably serious problems in the offing with that type of stocking..
