some LFS will take fry for money or for store credit...

but you would have to arrange this in advance as you dont want that much population in your tank after a while.. would get disaterous...

but i would say no on the breeding if you dont have a breeding tank or a spare tank for the fry once they get a little bigger.

The LFS often will take fish, and even give you some store credit. Maybe the bigger chains won't, but all the little stores around here I see get returns from time to time, so I know that they do.

That said, with young fish you probably will have to grow them out a little for them to have any chance of survival, at least to the size of the little guys you see at the LFS (and with any luck, yours will be in much better condition!). However this will still require a sizeable tank for grow-out with good filtration and water change schedule.

Angelfish is among the most popular fish and you LFS will gladly buy your juveniles. But if you're successful in breeding and raising most of the frys to sellable size, you'll need a lot of tanks space.
