All illegal but can be purchased from the right person, but you would have to be paying big bucks! The price really depends on the quality and the size.

Illegal imports include zebra plecs, pirahnas, and even koi. 2 is the NOXIOUS SPECIES LIST. This is different for every state, and is based on species that have become, or have the potential to become, a pest. This is BIG BUCKS if you are caught with any of these. And of course, the animal gets destroyed. In response, Australia sets up strict laws to protect their native species. It's the same idea why Snakeheads are now banned in the US ().
