Yes, it is.

Maybe the 6 neons and 3 cories might be ok.

I suggest you get a second tank or a larger one (30G would be cool).

albino corys grow too large for a 10g at 3-4 inches.

Is the tank planted? If so, then I say it's fine.

If it's not planted or only has fake plants, then yes, I would consider it overstocked.

Tank has fake plants, but I justed added a few bunches of hornwort and will add some anarchis. The tank will be moderately planted with both real and fake plants. Just out of curiousity, why does it matter if the plants are real or not?

Because live plants absorb toxins such as nitrates. I think it's way overstockes planted or not though

I would not have the platys. They poo like crazy and you are going to have a mess on your hands.

I'd stick to the small schools and leave it at that in a 10g.

Good luck

Remember, 1 inch of fish per gallon. 10 gallon means 10 inches of fish.

The "inch per gallon" rule was made back in the Seventies or something like that when the best available technology was the undergravel filter.

Now even most unplanted tanks can usually break this rule with fish such as neon tetras and the like, because of the great improvements in technology.

Also, that rule doesn't even apply to fishes over three inches in length. If it did, it would be considered ethical to keep a full-grown oscar in a 10 gallon.

" tries to imagine a full grown oscar in her 12G"

really he'd have to be on his head or his tail......

10 G are what nearly everyone starts with, if you plant it lots it will help with you water quality, but you just can't keep a whole of fish in there!

Go out and buy a 30G go on you know you want to!

you don't really need a sofa in your living room

Get more tanks!!
