I came back from a weekend trip, and i was feeding the fish and then i saw 2-3 molly fry..i was going to give these fish back to the lfs tomorrow..because they need brakish water..i only want fw.
So i gues that i will leave those fry in the tank?
If not i have to remove all the decorations to find them all.
Here you have 2 pics of the fry http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/mile_rd_8ball/album?.dir=/d5f0

Mollies do well in freshwater, the proof is that you have fry.
What other fish do you have in the tank?.

Usually algae comes from overfeeding, overstocking, and excessive lighting.

I dont think i overfeed them..and overstocking is not the problem since i have only 6 mollies.
So it seems it must be the lighting?

Try reducing it by 1 hour & see how it will go. If you still see Algae growth, reduce it by another hour.

Robby... I saw the earlier conversation in chat, and please, please do not do as was suggested by someone else in chat and flush the poor little babies! I saw the look you gave to that one and do not think you will, but I just wanted to make sure. If your mollies are having fry, then they are doing well enough. If you plan on returning the mollies, then take back the parents, before you end up with even more fry, and let the fry grow out a bit and then return them as well. It is really the only humane course of action to be taken. If you like the mollies, and want something similiar, let me say that my platies have brought a great deal of pleasure to our household since their arrival. Good luck with your new babies!
