Okay 10 minutes ago mum, (mom) said the biggest tank Im allowed to get is a 30 gal]:|:%)]:|:#(, so if I did get it could I get,
6 tetras or raborsas, (probably rummies or harlies)
2 angel fish, if I got two & they just happened to be males would they be aggresive or are they only aggressive at breeding time?(probably marbeled or koi)
8 or 10 cories, 4 or 5 pandas & 4 or 5 bronze??

cheers
Anthony

The schooling fish look fine. Not sure about the angels. I'd only do one but my experience with them is limited. Cory prefer a group of 6 or more and with the bronze getting near 3" that seems a bit crowded on the bottom to me. If you want 8 cory I'd go with only 1 species.

2 Angels (luckly you'll get a pair), 8 Rummynose Tetra & 8 Corydoras (all from the same species). With weekly water changes & gravel cleaning, you can do it. & good luck with your new tank.

In a 30g I'd go with 1 gourami the size of a blue(not a snakeskin or anything) or 2-3 dwarf gourami. I've had hit or miss luck with how dwarf gourami get along. Generally they prefer company more than being alone but sometimes I'd have 1 be agressive and harrass the others. I love using rams for a coloful peaceful cichlid in tanks too small for angels but they are a bit more sensitive. Rams are the only fish I've lost for unknown reasons.

For your Gouramies, try the Green Croaking Gourami, Trichopsis pumilus. Even smaller than a Dwarf, and considerably less likely to get fractious with its own kind. These things grow not much bigger than Neons, but make a pretty display at the top level of the aquarium, and in addition, make an audible croaking noise as additional entertainment. In a 30G you could have four of these guys with the rest of your fish no trouble. And, you'd have the joy of having something different and out of the ordinary.

Thing is though, they like warmer temperatures, so they might not integrate well with Panda Corys, that like it cooler. So you'd be looking at a Cory species that likes it warm. For the same reason, I'd warn against trying to mix Venezuelan Rams with Pandas, because they like opposite ends of the temperature scale.

However, if you decide against having Labyrinth fishes, but want something different that will integrate nicely with something like Pandas, how about the African Butterfly Cichlid, Anomalochromis thomasi? This fish will live happily at 22°C or 23°C with your Pandas, is amazingly peaceful by Cichlid standards, has gorgeous courtship and breeding colours, and will alos integrate nicely with your proposed Diamond Tetras.

the gouramis would be hardier- Personally id go with ONE blue/opaline instead of 2 dwarves, as gouramis personalities vary greatly.

I can get Sparkling gouramis in Melbourne easily, where are you in Australia? They are pretty common here where I am I don't know why they aren't where you are..

Sparklings are really cute but supsectable to dropsy, I lost 2 to it with perfect water and you probably wouldn't want to put them with pandas due to temperature, though I keep them in 25 degrees and they are perfectly happy.

2 Sparkiling gormais
8 panda cories or bandit/metea

Can I add anything else to this 30 gal, tetras, probably not but I thought I should ask.Should I get rid of anything?

(Ill probably only get Bolivian rams I cant seem to find SP gormais
If I got alge would there be enouch space for 2 or 3 ottos?
