one per gallon seems ok from the quick search I just ran, but i'll zip this over to "killifish" forum to get more info for you

Despite being called the "least killifish" it is really a livebearer more similar to guppys or the various "mosquito fish" and leopard livebearers.

In a heavily planted tank 5 per gallon would be perfectly ok. On the other hand, in an open 10 gallon though 10 would be the max as they like cover and are not a scholoing fish.

The best setup for them would be a heavily planted tank full of java moss, hortwort, water sprite etc with half a dozen fish. You'll see the numbers increase over time as fry are born and add to the colony.

I used to keep and breed these little guys on a regular basis. I kept about30-40 in a 5 gal tank. They breed great. Do not eat their young, and spawn regularly. There are many interesting facts about this little guy, including that they were once known as the smallest vertabrate in the world.

And yes, truth be told, these are more in the live bearer catagory, but are considered a killifish as well.
