As I mentioned, I'm increasing my cardinal school from 13 to about 30. Nothing like it in open swimming space with a black background.

Uh... well, depends on if my Motley Cory Crew counts... I've got nine cories of various types. Yes, I rescue lonely cories.

4 trilineatus
1 agassizii
1 ambiacus
1 "san juan"
1 melinni
1 panda

I intended to stick with the trilines, but scarcity (and a soft heart for lonely cories) changed plans. Everyone seems happy enough, and certainly happier than being the only cory in a LFS tank!

~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~

Spyder,

first of all, my tinfoils aren't real tinfoils (b. schwanenfeldi); they're red tailed tinfoils (b. altus).
They're fully grown now, at app. 8-9".
Real tinfoils can grow to 17". You can tell the difference by the color of the fins; b.S. has black "swords" in the tail; b.A. has a plain orange tail. Also, b.A. has a grey dorsal fin, whereas b. S. has a black tip.

I keep mine in a specially decorated 152 gal., with some other fish from the same biotope (b. lateristriga, flying fox, spotted algea eater).
The tank is certainly not stocked, to give them enough room to swim.

16 Lemon Tetras
12 Black Neons
12 Cardinals
10 Zebra Danios
8 Congo Tetras
7 Giant Danios
70 four-month old Kribs (not schooling - does that count?)

Tinfoil Barbs Keeper - what size tank do you have your Tinfoils in? I have 2 in a 180. I want to get more but I'm afraid of their size. My 2 are 10" each.

My largest school was 15 Rasbora Harlequins. Now, my largest "group" (not necessarily "schoolers" is 20 Panda Corys in my 72g bowfront. I need to give some up, but can't bear to do it. They keep proliferating!!! But they have plenty of room, so far.
