	Leaving on Vacation for 4 days
guppy_gal Hobbyist Posts: 77 Kudos: 12 Votes: 0 Registered: 27-Sep-2003	I have the following fish: - 1 betta in a large jar - 1 female swordtail in a temporary 2.5 gallon tank - 1 goldfish in a 10 gallon tank - numerous guppies in a 25 gallon tank I am leaving for four full days to New York and I would like to know if that is not too long for my fishies to be without food... I am especially worried for my betta and swordtail, as they are in much smaller tanks.... What do you think? Thanks in advance for any help

Just feed them before and make sure that you leave any tank lights off, because the fish will be more calm (and therefore use less energy) in darker environments.
