Fallout    Moderator Communications Specialist Posts: 6416 Kudos: 4053 Votes: 742 Registered: 29-Jul-2000 | I doubt you'll have any ammonia/nitrites if you're still running your old filter. Usually people give the new filter 2 weeks or so to populate before removing the old one. |

I added a new filter to my 20g 6 weeks ago and I still haven't taken it off. |
