I have a new, planted 29g that currently has the following:

1 - BN
1 - Dwarf Blue Gourami
1 - Kribensis (female)
6 - Green Catfish (Brochis Splendens)

I'm looking for suggestions for additional stock. I don't want any small schooling fish. I was thinking of adding additional dwarf Cichlids like a Ram, Cockatoo, or Keyhole. Maybe other Gouramis such as a Pearl or Honey. Maybe an Angel?

You can add a male Kribensis or a pair of Rams.

You can add a male Kribensis

If/when the kribs breed there would be some major agression problems towards the other fish in the tank.

I'm not sure about mixing gouramis. If you want to try I'd go with the honey over the pearl because of their similar size with the dwarf. Have lots of floating plants too for hiding places.

A single angel would probably be ok considering the height of a 29g.

I'm not really looking to breed the Krib. I don't think I have enough experience with Cichlids yet to go through that hassle.

Are the Blue Rams really that sensitive to water chemistry?
