You could probably very easily do a nice
group of 5-6 white cloud mountain minnows.
White clouds they are great little fish.

5g is a bit squishy for paradise, I'd go white clouds too

I would recommend Galaxy Rasboras if you can get ahold of them (especially since captive-bred specimens have been showing up on the market lately).

Cup, its a 5g tank. I dont think thats enough room
for even pygmy corys in a proper group.
I also thought the smaller corys all needed warmer temps?

I kept a paradise in a 5g tank with no problems. It seemed almost like too much room for the fish, even at full grown. Mind you, I had a female and I think males get a bit bigger. I think 5g is enough for a paradise.

Galaxy rasboras, I would love to get hold of some of those, they are currently selling here at 30 dollars a peice. A bit pricey for my tastes, but a fellow in my aquarium club is going to try breeding his group, so then they will be available for much cheaper Im thinking.

Oh, I read it as 15 gallons.

Also, to answer your question succinctly; no, none of the "pygmy" corydoras species thrive particularly in high temperature tanks...as with most other members of the species, however, they do fine year-round in temperatures around the mid to low 70s.

Really?
My Hasbrosus corys have been in 82F water for 4 years now with no issues.
I had always heard hasbrosus and pygmaeus corys prefer temps of 78-82F.
How odd.
