I heard mice noises near and checked it out. They chewed holes in all the bags. Is the food still good. |

I would just discard the parts around the hole and feed the food as filler. It might be stale by now, and the nutrient content cannot be trusted. |

I don't trust the mice & the germs thay might carry. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

If it was mouse food or rabbit food, i'd say turf the lot, but being fishfood, if you discard the parts that are heavily contaminated, I think the reast should be passable. Up to you though, if you don't feel comfy with it, then toss it and get new ![]() And for goodness sake, put the next one in a mousproof container ![]() (we have mice here at the moment, everything is in plastic boxes!) |

Buy some type of sealed containers for the next lot of food. Before that either lay baits, get a moust trap, or get a cat. Either way get rid of the mice. If there is one, there is another. They are nasty little varmits, I would scrap the food, as they have a habit of peeing and pooping on everything, but it depends on how far inside the bag they dug. |
