DUH!!! I swear I have blonce genes in here somewhere! Even with all my mediterranean blood! It is a 25 gallon tank. I looked on here for the compatibility thing and it didn't say anything abotu them so I just wanted to make sure they would be ok.

Just to cover my bases though the rams are really a pretty hardy fish right?

u can say that, i think they are ok, how many of each are u looking for and are those the only tankmates.

but if it is like 1 molly, then it should be good, until u move it, and then the rams should be ok, just dont keep them with smaller fishes. they sure did like my cardinals.

I guess i will ahve to pass on the cardinals then... I have 3 mollies right now but liek I said this will not be their permanent home. I want 1 maybe 2 rams. If so I will have to change my ideas around a little bit... They wont hurt the cories I am going to put in there will they?
I am planning on some tetras not sure what kind now since The rams will eat the cardinals I was going to get. I guess I also can not put any ghost shrimp in there then either huh? Hmm, mayb eI should rethink the rams then... Bummer...
I was planning on
6 cardinals
6 cories
6 skirted tetras maybe
10 ghost shrimp
1 or 2 rams

Let me knwo if you think of a better idea pleeeease

I have a pair of Bolivian Rams with 7 cardinals, 6 corys, and 6 ghost shrimps in a 23g, and no problems. The Rams never bother the cardinals. They chase the corys away only when they're breeding. I wouldn't call German Rams hardy though - they're pretty sensitive fish. Bolivian Rams are much hardier.

What upikabu said is 100% true. Neither the bolivian or german rams will bother cardinals, but I would stay away rom the german/blue rams. In my opinion they are one of hte hardest fish to keep long-term. They get stressed over any thing (temp, aggressive fish, water quality) and will go down hill from there.
