INHO, this is way too small for this kind of fish. Is it a baby and are you planning to find a bigger home for him when he grows? Instead of adding a new Betta to your existing fish tank you should first of all let us know how big it is. If, and only if it is big enough, add more Cardinals to you lonely guy/gal, they are schooling fish.
