Since I cant have one in my 55g I want to move my 75g community to the 55g. Would this be ok in my 55g. 2 bolivian rams 3 festivum 8 diamond tetras 7 lemon tetras 6 schwartzi cories |

If I'm looking at things right i might not be, you should be fine putting those in a 55...Just be sure to keep up on the water changes and keep up the filtration... So what kind of cichlid do you want in the 75? heidi "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom." Thomas Carlyle |

Im thinking about getting either a jaguar cichlid or an oscar but Im looking around at some other big CA cichlids. |

The 500 is rated for 50 gals if I am not mistaken. Either way the extra powerhead cant hurt anything. As for load, you are well withing stocking limits for a 55 gal tank. With regard to the sa cichlids, may I suggest green terrors. These fish have tons of personality and arent nearly as agressive as oscars or jaguars. If you are looking for a more agressive fish maybe a dempsy would work for you, again, not nearly as rowdy as an oscar or jaguar but more agressive than a green terror. |
