 | My gold fish just laid eggs!!! what do l do? |
sharkbait_whohaha Hobbyist Posts: 89 Kudos: 65 Votes: 0 Registered: 28-Sep-2005   | Hey all, I just found out that my gold fish laid eggs.. they are in a 20Gal tank atm for breeding. Do l have to take the parents out and put them bck i the pond or keep them in the breeding tank? And what sould be my next step for the eggs? As you can tell l have never done this before |

king joe60 Small Fry Posts: 1 Kudos: 2 Votes: 1 Registered: 14-Oct-2005  | you should take out the eggs and put them in a small tank with only about 6 inches of water in it(so the fry can swim to the surface easily). they hatch in about a week and you should feed them fry food. |
