I don't know if there is or not, maybe Fallout would know...or check online...

Why would you want piranhas any ways?

I haven't heard of a license system for getting piranhas. I think the laws work so that the fish are either banned in a state, or perfectly legal and tradeable like other aquarium fish. Here in Virginia, piranhas are banned outright. Folks are afraid that if they got released into the waterways, they might populate and destroy the ecosystem or whatever. I personally doubt that it could happen, especially since the water up here is not nearly as warm as that in South America, the habitat of piranhas.

in New York they r illegal but u can apply for a permit at the local fish n wildlife department
im not sure if new york keeps up or has the same standards as other states which r as strict with piranhas as they r with raptors but i think new york the permit is free
with out it theres a fine n they take the fish if u ever got cot n the fish are destoryed
there are only 29 states piranhas r legal

as for the comment about piranhas being released i live in canada n have worked for the MNR n last year 48 piranha were cot through the ice by fisherman
n many more r cot during bass season when ppl use chubs n minnows
these lakes are lake erie n lake st clair
now u may say that these were all captively released but they can survive our winters up here in canada n alot have been cot but r they breeding maybe maybe not but if they can survive they can breed
