Do you have all same sex cichlids? They tend to get territorial when they are breeding and will hunt down other fish, even other cichlids of the same species. Although your tank may be large enough for this not to be a problem. Make sure there are lots of hiding places. The kribs are cave brooders and they will also use them for hiding, not sure about the firemouths, I have never kept them. You can also add the Corydoras school. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
