Hullo.
Saw these two cichlids at a LFS and couldn't resist. They were in a tank with a bunch of Texas Cichlids. The biggest Texas was hiding in the one cave in the tank, but these two little guys had the rest of 'em hiding up at the top of the tank and they were digging around the gravel. Nobody at the store could tell me what they were. They're about 3" right now.
I got the cories from an 'assorted cory' tank at the same store a few months ago. They're about 2" now. Haven't been able to find any more, but I can have a store order 'em for me if I find out the correct name for 'em. I looked at the Cat-e-log for a solid hour and couldn't find them, but maybe I'm just blind. Anyway, here are the pics of the fish:

Thanks in advance for any help.

The cory is a young Corydoras napoensis.

I'm not sure about the cichlids though - in the first picture they look kind of like Jack Dempseys but in the second picture they look more African...

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

That's definitely a Central American species of cichlid; the only African fish I can think of that remotely bears those sort of markings/body shape would be any number of tilapia. At first glance, it seems to be a rainbow cichlid, but honestly, I have no real clue.

Thanks, Cup! I don't know why, but I didn't see that profile when I browsed through the cichlids earlier. The picture of the rainbow cichlids looks exactly like the fish I have.
(Edited because I can't spell.)
