You would probably just have to send Adam a pm about it. I have an incorrect photo on one of my profiles, and I'm hoping that gets fixed.

EDIT: To answer the question below, yes we do. You just need to submit several profiles, and Adam will give you an award when he finds time.

I'm cleaning up some of the profiles of some of the sharks since those are kinda my specialty. There are numerous things on each profile that I'd like to clean up, but instead of submitting the changes one-by-one to be approved each time, is there any way that I can change numerous things on a profile in one fell swoop? Or do I just need to do the changes one at a time?

PM/email/msg me if you have any questions/comments regarding me or my knowledge or if you want me to read a thread.

profiles menu? now, I hate to seem stupid, but where exactly is this menu? I could copy and paste the link for Aquarank, but I'm not doing it for every page on the site. There has to be something going on, and I'm fairly sure it's not me. Please help!

I can't complete step four of the profile submitting process. I'm getting an "invalid family" message. Apparently the family of the fish I'm trying to submit a profile of isn't in the database or something. How do I get around that? By the way, it's Lebiasinidae, just to be clear.

I was getting the family error too, for Aplocheilidae - then I wrote it out in Word, copied and pasted it, and it went through. Dunno why, but play around with it and see if you can get it to work.

Is there a way to correct a photo that is not the actual fish being profiled?

So, is there a link somewhere on the site that we can go to if we feel the need to submit a profile, or do we simply have to remember the sites for ourselves? I realize that adding a link to the main page would put an in-flux of submissions to the site, but I know I'll forget about it, and I'm sure there are others who will as well. Also, without a link to vote for the submissions, it will take a lot longer, and it will be a lot more difficult to get anything through. Just an idea, let me know what you think if you want.

What about the corals? Will they soon have the same feature to be able to edit?

great work being done so far. but i still find from personal experience that almost every profile i visit is not so much incorrect as just having a narrower view. for instance the profile on mollies say temps 18-28. which is probably where they r most comfortable but my mollies seasonally live in 13-33. mayb it is a good idea to have these fields narrowed down as it is possible that this may simply be a geographical phenomona and sum1 in LA couldnt possibly keep them this cold. no matter, the thing i would like to yell is; WHERE ARE THE PLANT PROFILES?? how much longer must we wait?
sorry that kinda sounds like complaining but still...

Actually the profiles should not be what we keep the fish at, or what we have seen them kept at. As many fish can/will adapt to their environment. But instead, the profiles should be of their native lands and the environments of such places.

I have Internet Explorer 6.0 but all that shows up are the categories without any information next to them. Any idea what the problem may be?

I have a question, actually more of an idea.

Can we add a "Minimum Tank Size" to the profiles?

Edit: fixed spelling ^_^*

The PROFILES menu is on the bottom of the blue header bar, the 2nd link along

For animals, the entire universe has been neatly divided into things to (a) mate with, (b) eat, (c) run away from, and (d) rocks. - Terry Pratchett
