Today I got me another female betta, and 3 ottos, which are settling in as I type this. I now have 3 female bettas, I thought their may be a bit of fighting, because the new one was flaring at my 2 through the bag, but as soon as she went in, she was okay. The ottos seem to be having fun exploring. I need a name for the new female betta, so any suggestions would be great !!

Thanks, may post pics at a later date.

Its always fun getting new fish and watching them settle in.

A photo would help in the naming.

New fish are my favorite part about setting up a tank. It seems I can never take my eye off of them

How about Jewel for a name?

Just a random thought

I tend to have naming themes for my bettas... the boys have "american ideal" names such as Life, Liberty and Justice, and my girls are Greek goddesses, ranging from the Muses to the Fates and other individual goddesses.

I agree with the above... either a picture or a description of her behavior would help in naming. What other names do you have and what sort of names do you like?

Congrats on the new fishies!
