hey guys.

yesterday went out and got a 4ft 55g tank and stand for 115$$ US new. with cover glass. but that catch was they tell me i shouldn't fill it wednesday. but i was allow to take the tank home with me.

i asume they make there own tanks and they just want ample time for the silicon to set and have no leaks right?

but how long should that really take? over 5 days? sounds a bit much .

i do trust these guys, to me they are one of the the best LFSs in melbourne (mentone aquarium) but is that waiting peroid a little over cautious?

TIA guys.

I would wait. they know what they are talking about. frustrating!!! but must be done. stick the backing on now whilst its empty and Dream of how you will have it looking by the end of the week.

It's better to wait a bit more & later on you can enjoy it all your life.

I would probably wait at least a full week before putting water in it. You shouldnt take any chances with a freshly put together tank.
