Congrats with your 125g
It surely going to be an awsome tank especially when you get the help from experts like Bensaf, untitled and others about the plant sections..
Wonder when i will get my 125g tank..
We will wait for some pics

Sorry Ingo,

I've had crazy day, I'll go back and read you long pieces when I get a chance. I'm actually setting up my 46 again as we speak. Got pretty much everything except for my regulator, which is coming tomorrow. I ended up giving my big angel away so now I'll have just smaller schooling fish in my planted tank.

Tetra,

Nooooo

Did you read this thread? Look above, my tank is not even set up yet. Maybe in 2 to 3 weeks, but for sure AFTER you can tell me how to do it .

Littlefish,

Did you already hook it up. Was it pretty simple?

Nah, I can't

I already bought their best unit (system) anyway. There is no free upgrade because they have nothing better .

Reno - Yes I have TFH, and sure did he inspire me, but so did many others, like the great members here.

Awesome! See, I told you they were a good dealer to buy from.

Now, hopefully Ingo can stumble on to a deal like that.

Tetra,

Did they give you the Top Gun for the same price as the JBJ?

Nicely put Ingo.

Actually when I ordered the regulator from aquariumplants.com I picked out a few plants as well. Everythings coming tomorrow. I picked up my co2 tank from the welding supplier this afternoon.

This will be my first experience as well ordering plants online.

Ingo,

Can't wait to see how that tank develops! I'm jealous!

Where are you going to get all the plants to fill that thing up? Online? I've never ordered plants online but have read a lot of threads from people who did and had a good experience. Since you'll be buying a ton of plants, you'll make up for the shipping cost with the savings.

I don't know if you read Tropical Fish Hobbyist, but the articles by Takashi Amano may give you some ideas on substrate, plants, driftwood, rocks, etc. and also setting it all up.

Gang,

I know it is nothing special for quite a few members here, but for someone like me (who has started that fish
thingy about 6 months ago) it is a special day. My 125 has arrived and awaits further instructions. You can read
about how I got this tank HERE.

Now, here is the situation:

- it will be a while until I have all the pieces together, maybe a month or so. Only then will I start to set it up.
- it will be planted with CO2.
- I am planning on creating a log thread similar to Matt, Tryst, Dr. Bonke, etc.

Here are my questions:

a) Should the thread go into Planted Aquaria, or Aquascaping, or where else?
b) When should I start it (like now with mentioning all the steps just to get it together or once all pieces came in)?
c) Or should I not create a thread (boring)?
d) Any other input/tips that you would like to give me now

Thanks in advance,

Ingo

Littlefish,

I thought you should know that I had ordered my JBJ regulator from AquariumPlants and I got a call from them about it. They said there have been alot of problems with that regulator and they are sending me the Top Gun (modified Milwaukee) one instead.

That's a great tank, have fun with the setup, etc.

GFG,

It will be both, plants and fish.

Bensaf, Matt, Tryst, Untitled, and others are helping me with the plants already (in anticipation of the 125 and for the existing 29), and if I don't bother them too much I hope they will continue to do so.

The Pope, well, he hasn't acknowledged me yet (maybe he never will), but he once posted in a thread right after me

Thanks,

Ingo

EDIT: LittleMousling - you posted at the same time than me, so I edit this one to answer: Thanks
BTW, your avatar looks like a large tank, is that yours?

Ah, I figured you could take my unvarnished question as "yes, post a log thread" as well as "wherever you want."

what will your tank be most about plants or fish?

cos if its plant planted will get you the help from Bensaf and the Pope?

GFG

Well, you are right on, I don't think I will send the tank your way.

Matt posted his log in Planted, if I am not mistaken.
