Shell dwellers! In a 20 (long) you could keep almost any species of shell dweller you like. In a ten there are three lovely options that are particularly suited to such a small tank.

in a 20 go with corries something hardy, schwartzis (sp?) You definately need a nice school of corries

and then for the swimming part go with neons, glowlights, and harlequin rasboras

I love my school (22 neons, 10 glowlights, 6 harlies-they think they are one and the same in my tank) and the corries are fun, that or you could become another cory rescuer you know kitten is a good leader on it (I never ever ever do it) get the lone cory left in the tank

just my thoughts,

It will probs be 15 gallon. I wanna get a school of false leopards, because in the LFS I go 2 there always available and they're quite cheap. Also I'm moving my 2 female bettas in it cause Im only allowed 1 tank set-up, so what could go wid them ??

what kind of temperament do these little ladies have Lee? That will depend a lot on what else can go in there...if they are pretty laid back you might be able to add lots of different things...though in a 15, I think I'd go with 6-8 of the C. trilleantus (false juliis/false leopards) and maybe just add a couple more girls to the tank...you would have the color you want and have a nice set up. If it were me and I had more of a green thumb I'd go really well planted...

Of coursenot saying you do thissome of our members have been able to easily keep more tanks set up in their bedrooms, where you don't see them unless you actually walk into the roomand their parents don't know about itthen you could have more fishies

Welll heidi, the ladies arn't aggresive at all, far from it actually, they are really good and like to hang out together + they arn't aggresive to other fish at all.

I don't know what the tank size will be yet, but I will probally get second hand one because I cant afford a new one at the moment.

P.S. I really wanna school of tetras, what tetras can go in a 10-20 gallon, with bettas ??

a secondhand tank is sometimes the best tank there is.
