Fish?![]() Small Fry Posts: 8 Kudos: 6 Votes: 0 Registered: 09-Aug-2005 ![]() | Ok guys, i'm extremely new to this hobby. I am almost done with my fishless cycle on my first ever tank (55g). In the mean time, I have been researching fish taht I would like to have. Anyways, heres my question...would it be ok to stock these fish, in my 55gal tank (and if so, how many of each): YoYo Loach(s) Kuhli Loach(s) RubberNose Pleco (AKA Bulldog Pleco) (1) Pimellodus pictus catfish Parambassis ranga (Glassfish, Indian Glassfish) Kryptopterus bicirrhis (Ghost Glass Catfish) A couple Opaline Gouramis (if possible, can do without) Still not sure if that is the final list of fish I want for sure...but just checking anyways. Thanks alot guys, -Fish? |

If kept in groups in a 55 gallon tank, it is likely that they will start to bully each other once they become established. ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

Fish?![]() Small Fry Posts: 8 Kudos: 6 Votes: 0 Registered: 09-Aug-2005 ![]() | I suppose you're talking about Myletes hypsauchen, not Myleus rubripinnis. Even then..would that be my max. stock for my 55gal? I don't just want 2 types of fish in there and that be it, IMO that would be sort of boring, especially after a period of time...but maybe i'm wrong. Oh, and "fishyhelper288" that sounds like a really good setup actually. I'll look more into those fish, though i'm not to crazy about 2" and under fish. Thanks for the idea! Actually, could I get 3 kuhlis, and 3 yoyos? I decided to drop the pictus all together. Can you tell me if this would be ok? 3-Kuhlie Loaches 3-Yoyo Loaches 1-Rubbernose Plec 2-Angelfish 2-Opaline Gourami 4-Glass Cats (MAYBE a few corys?) Does that sound alright?
