I was always under the impression that any nitrites at all (1-2 ppm) could be lethal to fish, and at a stretch, 10 ppm would be definitely lethal. Yet, on the quiz, (which threw me for a loop) the correct answer is that nitrites aren't lethal until they're over 20ppm. So, is the quiz right, have I just heard wrong, or what? :%) |
