OK all, my puffertank is just about cycled in. Got a rise in the nitrites and nitrates showed up real nice yesterday. Hoping that by next week I can pop the razzies back to their home and get some dp's in there. Gonna try for a pair of females and a male. Petsmart is getting a load in friday, should be. Then all I'll need is a nice oto or two and I'll be all set. Maybe I'll even put some hornwort in there, I plan on tossin some on top of my '29 to help suck up some nitrates anyway. Hopefully there'll be a snail or two on it for them.

awesome. I'm also setting up a puffer tank. I am going to have some dwarf puffers and maybe a pair of redtails. What is your aquascape for them like?

A ten gal tank with the blue/red mini gravel. A large pot decoration from petsmart, a mini-waterfall decoration and so far many plastic plants. Tried the live plant thing b4 with poor success, and I like the way the plastic ones look anyway. gonna add more sooner or later. I might get a few sprigs of hornwort from petsmart, they cane in yesterday and put them in the corners, and maybe laying on top.

You may want to watch those "redtails". The dwarves will have a rough time with loretis and irrubescos may or may not be too docile for the dwarves.
