I understand what you are saying, but you really have to pick your battles. The person is just trying to sell something and he/she is really not looking for advice. Really, the only time someone should reply on those sort of threds is if they are interested in buying. Otherwise, it just annoys the seller who really doesn't seem to want to talk fish.

What you're doing is commendiable, but not too practical.

Pete the people on that site are obviously animal lovers. They just happen to not know that much about fish yet. It isn't a crime and remember you always catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

What I was trying to do was get some assistance from some experienced aquariasts to go to this site and help dissuade people from putting 3 guppies in a 1/2g bowl with no filtration, heat, and only 1 20% water change in a week.
However it seems to me noone wanted to assist and thought I was being out of line to argue this womans idea.
So I decided it must be pointless of me to assume anyone would want to help.
Thats why I made it pointless.

I didnt see the site or thread you were refering to but we certainly dont give high regard to threads that are asking our members to go and gang up on other websites. If I or one of the others had found it it would of been deleted.
