They are laying the eggs on the outlet of my fluval canister filter, which is really weird. I would have thought they'd have layed them on a java fern leaf or on the glass. They have been cleaning the leaves for the last few days. -- Gomer |

Remember to leave a dim light at night, so the Angels can keep an eye on the eggs all the time. Do you have other fish in the tank?. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

Goneski. I didn't have a light on during the night. But i think the Angels may have just ate them. I do have other fish in the tank. Boesmani Rainbows, Rummynose Tetras, a Swordtail, a Bristlenose and some Corys. Funnily enough the Tetras seemed most interested in the breeding than any of the other fish. I am not fussed on raising any future fry. But should i put a piece of slate in the tank against the glass for a better breeding site? Cheers. -- Gomer |

I saw Angels laying eggs on the tank silicone & on the filter intake. If you want to save them, try to leave a dim light at night, even if you have lots of Fish waiting for a snack. ![]() http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
