i had 2 long finned tetras along with my dinosaur eels in my tank since i got it earlier this year. then about a month after i started my tank i got two mickey mouse platys. sadly one of my platys died so for a couple of weeks my platy schooled with my tetras, then one of my dinosaur eels ate the smaller tetra (they are getting bad about that) and now my tetra and platy are hanging out together and picking on my female beta . i just thought i would share because i thought it was kind of wierd, has anyone ever had something like this happen?

...and move the eels to a tank with larger fish. Tetra and platy are probably schooling together in the hopes that the other will get grabbed by the eel and survive themselves.

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

yeah a couple of days ago i got two more mickey mouse to see what they would do and the tetra and my first mickey mouse pick on them so they stay at the other side of the tank. and i am hoping to get a 55 gallon by the end of the month to put my eels in, right now my tank is pretty crowded and they are small but i know they will grow to 12 inches.
