OK I posted earlier about the 125 gallon and how I have baby corries in it...and I am really happy and excited about it...but now I have a question...I had a school of Emperor Tetras that I lost most of to Ich, when my a/c went out last monthWell, aparently I missed seeing what I think is now a juvenile Emperor Tetra, but I'm not totally sureThe only "fish" I've put in the tank are Neon Tetras, Harlequin Rasboras, 1 Male Guppy, and Emperor Tetras (not including the Corydoras or Clown Loaches, as they aren't the ones in question).

Well, in looking closely, very closely into the tank, in good lighting, and taking (or trying to take) pictures of the metae fry, I ran across this guy or girl...

Is it possible that my sill Emperors spawned before Ich got them? Otherwise what is this? Is my landlady playing evil tricks with my mind now? (she doesn't have a key to the apartment) Just thought I'd share...hml

PS This is a close up that I blew up, in real life it's only about 1/2 inch long...hml

Sure looks like a baby Emperor Tetra to me. It is possible, though highly unlikely, that one (or more) of the babies survived the Ich outbreak. Congrats on your amazing little king...

PM/email/msg me if you have any questions/comments regarding me or my knowledge or if you want me to read a thread.

A lot of people try & try to get their fish to breed with no luck, and when not trying you succeed. Congratulations.

Luck is an important part in our hobby, but it's not everything.
Keep up the good work you're doing micheIIe & Goodluck.
