I'd have to say no. A 2" slow-moving flowy-finned betta housed with a bunch of big, aggressive carnivores would not be a good idea at all.

Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean...

i agree, the betta would be a 3 dollar lunch for someone. Also, those fish get waaayyy too big for a 10 gallon, and quickly.

10 Gal. is too small for those fish & never mix Oscars with Bettas, as they finish as food.

yep,

all of those fish do not belong in a 10 gallon(well except the betta), and an adult oscar will probably eat a betta.

the oscar will need a 75 gallon and so will the other fishies except the betta, so if you already have them take back all the fish except the betta

bettas reputation for being aggressive is very exagerated... a lot of people mistakenly believe that they are nasty enough to be kept with oscars, pirahna, etc...

however, bettas are actually quite peaceful fish except when it comes to other bettas (or fish that resemble other bettas). their aggression is only them defending their territory. otherwise, they can be kept quite nicely with small, community fish, not big mean oscars!
