I want to get a Betta, but am thinking I may need an algae crew since the tank's planted. Would the Betta get along with a few ottos, or better to just see how the tank goes by himself? |

Id go for a crew of 3-4 ottos, and make sure they have enough algea, or supplement with algea wafers. |

The tank is large enough that the ottos can zip around and avoid the beta, and since it's planted, they'll be able to hide if need be. Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean... |

Are you just planning on those 2 fish or will there be other gish in the tank? |

Just the betta and ottos. Glad I won't have a problem. I've been thinking about a betta in a 10g for a while, and finally have the right situation for it. Now all I really have to worry about is the aquascaping and plants. |

Since I'm looking for more of a centerpiece fish, I'm still aiming for a male. I'm probably doing the move this week, so I'll let you know how it tuns out! |
