The first does not look over stocked providing all the correct procedures are followed. Water changes, good filtration and plenty of live plants. I would prefer to have all Cardinals rather than a mix. Second question Are those guppies Male, female, or a pair if so how do they get along with the Betta? Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. Even though neons and cardinals are small, you shouldn't put 15 of them in a 10g. I had problems with 8 neons and a betta in a 10g and even though I started falling behind on water changes, I don't think you can do it enough for that many fish. If you plant a 10g heavy enough to tank care of the waste, the fish won't have room to swim. Especially that many of them. |
