| Plants and Schooling - Can't have everything | |

My tank was mostly driftwood with a few plants and the fish would move nicely from end to end. I recently added more plants to the sides and back and now my big school of cardinals sort of hover instead the stem areas of the plans. I like the way the tank looks, but I enjoyed the fish moving across the tank. My Scapes |

They seem to hang out between the stems of my hygrophila sunset. I left alot of room so light could get through. Maybe if the stems were closer together they wouldn't do that. My Scapes |

Since the leaves on Amazon swords are pretty far apart, the cardinals can all still be seen easily. It is natural behavior, as they feel safer in there than out in the open, and I think it looks really cool actually. ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |
