Hey guys whats up,

I have a question
I found that my parents have Ph Decreaser for the pool.

I was wondering, would it be possible to use this to lower the Ph in my 10G tank?

I know there is a diffrence in my 19,000 Gallon pool
and my 10G tank but jst a pinch would be added

I have no fish in tank.

I would only try like a pinch and over a few days see if it works.

Here is the link for the pics

Yes I posted the same question at my Car forum, but there are some fish lvers there,
and the main reason was just for the pics, so you guys could see them[b/]

Integra- If you are trying to reduce the PH in your tank,
I would suggest NOT using a chemical treatment.
The best bet to lower ph and the cheapest is Peat Granules.
For example- I had a ph of 7.8 at my last place, and a hardness of over 380ppm disolved calcium ions.
I added 1 lb of peat granules to the filter, and the tank lowered and maintained itself for a year at a ph of 6.6 and a hardness of 120ppm. I just replace the peat every 3 months with fresh stuff.I would never in a million years use a nasty chemical like that in my tanks. I dont trust it.
