| Prime water conditioner - detoxify nitrates? | |
MO![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hobbyist Posts: 126 Kudos: 50 Votes: 2 Registered: 09-Nov-2001 ![]() | I recently switched to using Prime as my water conditioner and noticed it says it detoxifies nitrites and nitrates. Does it affect actual nitrate levels, or just make it less toxic to fish? And, are the nitrates still readily available for the plants? I plan to be adding nitrates to my planted tanks soon and I want to be sure I am getting accurate readings with my test kit. |
