Most heaters advocate free water flow around the heater to prevent hot spots from forming on the glass and blowing the heater. Personally id make sure nothing touched the heater. Cant be too careful when electricity and water are involved. |

Right now the heater is barely touching like one leaf of one plant, and is pretty close to one of the castles in the tank but its not touching it. |

reun Big Fish Posts: 332 Kudos: 216 Registered: 04-Nov-2005 | I use driftwood to hide my heaters...doesn't touch them, but hides it nicely. I also use slate to hide my filter tubes from my over the back filters...heheheheh...sneaky... |
