ya i suppose it must be either a platy or a guppy. is it common for the female to die after giving birth

Congratulations on the finds That is usually how I realize anymore that I have something new, is me playing in the tank or trying to move everything around and out...I didn't realize I had so many metae juvenile fry until i started dismantling the tank

fishyhelper, I really have no idea how many fry I still have in the 125 I pulled 4 out for leslie yesterday, and had counted 8 the night before, so that should only leave me with 4 more...but while trying to catch those 4 I suddenly saw all these smaller, much smaller fry scurrying around...and then there is the matter that I've already pulled 4 or 5 I think from the tank and put them in another tank...it's wild... and I'm wondering if I'll ever finish pulling metae fry out of the 125
