Ok it seems that it's mating season in my tank, I have 2 pairs of angels, one is a pearl scale couple which are breeding and fry is almost free swimming by now, mentioned in prior post, the other pair I thought it was two veil angels, I thought both males. Well no! Last night one of them was laying eggs on the tank glass, but the problem is that the other veil angel is not paying any attention not fertilizing or anything, is it possible for this female to lay eggs even if she has no male couple?

Yes, a female will lay her eggs even if no one fertilizes them.

I have had some female angels lay eggs only to have them remained unfertalized as well. I have also witnessed convict cichlids lay eggs in a tank of only females.
