On a completeley unrelated thing, Why do they call puffers puffers?
do they puff up like they do on cartoons?

If everyone here is happy that this fish is Tetraodon nigroviridis, I'll advise accordingly next time I visit the LFS.

Yep they look like the common green spotted puffers(Tetraodon nigroviridis). Require brackish getting closer to saltwater as they grow and have an average lifespan of 15years if kept properly with reports of fish over 18years old. Moderately agressive as far as puffers go.
