	Q-tine question 2
djtj Fish Master Posts: 1764 Kudos: 885 Votes: 49 Registered: 20-Feb-2003	How big of a q-tine tank should I have? The biggest fish I'll be keeping would only be about 6 inches. I have a spare 1 gallon tank in my basement. If that isn't enough, I also have a 2.5 betta tank. I guess I could move the betta out and put him in the 1 if worst comes to worst. I don't need any bigger than that, do I?

bettachris Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004	u can risk it, which should be o.k, but if a last restort try stacking the ten gallon on one of your other 10+gallons. this is not safe, but can be done. as for filters, you dont need to aget a 35+ dollar filter, there are some that are only 5$. and also a heater isn't nessecary. even warm water fish can live without a heater. and it is starting to get warmer in Ny. I guess if I really needed to, I could pick up a 10 gallon. Right now, I'm going to stop worrying about it. Oh, and I do have an extra filter, I just found it, so I won't have to worry about it in either case.

Plus it seems a waste to buy one unless I'm sure I'll need it. If I ever have a problem, I'll run down to my nearst petland.
