"i understand in thw wild that is how they eat, but with captive bred fishes that i have, i do not feed my feed other fish.(or live n.e way). it is just something i will not do! "

oooookay mr split personality

i'm not taking a negative tone. We're all friends here. But havent you gone from saying you'd never feed live fish to your fish. Then you've gone to feeding some of YOURE fish to ur fish.

Concerning the question at hand - (which i should stick to) i think a better solution would be to treat your sick rosies and get your clown some frozen shrimp or something.

save your rosies!!

I would never feed a fish that I suspected might be ill to another fish - you may well suceed in introducing/transfering a nasty pathogen into your healthy tank.

Your sick rosies could just be old, or they may be carrying parasites. If they are wasting away, they may be full of worms or flagellates. They could have external parasites too.

Either attempt to diagnose and treat the sick fish or humanely destroy them without exposing your other stock to whatever the sick fish may be carrying. Sterilize your nets, siphons, buckets etc afterwards.
