Move this to plnats if you want.

xlinkinparkx,

Hi, I'm one of those mysterious mods ! I could move your thread but, to be frank, I wouldn't know where to move it to at this stage Your thread is rambling all over the place. It starts as a question about how the forums work which belongs in Site Feedback, then a request for a plant id and then an stocking question and a request for aquascaping help So where would I put it that wouldn't be out of place

You'll find it easier to get meaningful answers and help if you can keep your threads on topic and in the appropriate forum. I understand you're a beginner and have lots of questions but putting all those different questions into one confusing thread won't get you good replies.

If you have a question ask it in the appropriate forum with a clear title and keep the thread on that topic. Have a question on a different subject ? Open another thread in the right forum and do the same. You'll get more and better answers that way

You can delete your own posts (which I see you have done a lot of !) but you cannot delete an entire thread, only a mod can do that. We prefer to keep the threads open so other members and passer-by's can see the answers you got as many would have the same questions as you. It's a public forum for the benefit of hobbyists and not a private tutoring

Hope this helps you

It never hurts to add more plants. Also, a mod is a moderator, which is a member on the forum who has the power to delete and move threads, and also other responsibilites which i am not familiar with.

Dechlorinator. Almost every company that makes aquarium related items makes some form of dechlorinator, so you will have no trouble finding any.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

a betta in a one gallon bowl would need 100% water changes with declor. every three or four days.

IMO you should try to find something larger for him, maybe a 2 gallon.

If you didn't make so many repetitive threads, you'd be fine.

The pictures really aren't clear enough to make a solid ID, but perhaps something like lloydiella or moneywort for the first one. Perhaps java fern for the second one, but that one is really hard to see.

You need better pictures for a good ID... and someone better at plant ID's than I am.

Could a mod please move this to the plant forum so that better responses could be offered?
