| Rainbows for 20 gallon? | |
devon7![]() Big Fish Posts: 475 Kudos: 356 Votes: 4 Registered: 31-Aug-2004 ![]() | what rainbows could I put in a 20 gallon? The other inhabitants of this tank are 3 yo yo loaches but besides that I would like it to be all rainbows. I already have threadfins in another tank so I would rather not include a full school of them, maybe like 3 or something if I have room at the end. I was thinking maybe m. praecox? do I have to have full schools of like 6? or could I put like 3 or 4 each of a couple species? I would like to include at least 2 species of rainbows in this tank. edit: btw this is a standard 20 gallon, not a 20 long. Last edited by devon7 at 01-Feb-2005 12:16 |

With that many in a 20G it would be hard to fit anything else. There are other dwarf rainbows but if you consider everything, including availability and hardiness, M. praecox has them all beat easily IMO. (especially if you eliminate threadfins) |
